Finally Africa now has its own unique web address .africa, this is like the .com. Africa Union has all the credit for this new development. I applaud AU for this great achievement and i also want to seize this opportunity to remind AU that there is still more work to be done as far as Africa's Internet and Technology is concerned; we need our own SAR Value as a people and as a Continent.
SAR means specific absorption Rate of a mobile phone, its the measurement of how much radiation a mobile phone emits during use, I pointed out few years ago that Continents like North America and Europe have their own SAR value (1.6 and 2.0 w/kg respectively) hence Africa too should look into standardizing or defining the SAR value of mobile phones that come into Africa.
